POSITION PURPOSE/SUMMARY:

The primary function of the inspector is to verify product conformance.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform receiving inspection of materials and outsorced products/processes
• Perform first article inspection
• Oversee in process inspection
• Perform final inspection
• Use hand tools and CMM to inspect parts
• Maintain measuring instrument calibration schedule
• Keep inspection room and tools/instruments clean and organized
• Work with production staff, customers and vendors in regards to product quality
• Create NCMRs on approprate product
• Bubble blue prints and create inspection reports
• Participate in planning meetings and MRB activities
• Participate in other duties as outlined in Quality Manual

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed in both the office and shop floor. Employee will be subject to lifting, bending and exposure to fumes and chemicals (cutting fluids, etc.).
