CNC Machine Operator

Operate CNC Mill and Lathe machines at a high level of efficiency

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Ability to operate CNC Mill and Lathe machines at a high level of efficiency

    • Perform dimensional and visual inspection of machined metal parts utilizing micrometers, calipers, optical comparator, dial indicators, height gages and other related equipment.

    • Ability to make adjustments to work offsets, tooling offsets, replace broken tools and perform simple troubleshooting to NC programs on the shop floor

    • Performs secondary bench operations as required, which includes but is not limited to inspection, de-burring, and cleaning of parts.

    • Reliably meet production output requirements

    • Maintain safe work environment; maintain 5S standards.

    • Maintain strong focus on business needs. 

    • Ability to read and understand verbal and written instructions in English

QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    • 2 years of CNC mill/lathe experience required

    • Knowledgeable in reading/understanding blueprints, drawings, and schematics

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee is required to stand and walk for an entire shift. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs

Schedule:

    • 8 hour shift

    • Day shift

    • Monday to Friday

Job Type: Full-time.  Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
